She called me today. She's at work and is demanding to know why I haven't called her yet to fill her in. Of course, I have absolutely NO clue what she's talking about and she yells at me..."MOM, THE HURRICANE IS COMING! WE NEED TO MAKE PLANS, WHO'S GOING WHERE, WHERE ARE WE GOING?" I laugh, and of course this only made her mad, but I tell her that she can calm down. The hurricane is not even in the Gulf yet, we have plenty of time to get ready for anything we might need to do.



She sighs and says "Mama, I'm scared" My 19 year old who just had to move out right after graduation. My baby who now has a full time job and is paying for her own car. Ms. Independant....she's scared and had to call her mommy.





She made me laugh, then of course, she made me cry. I love her so much.
